Viking shoes based on the find from the Coppergate dig at York, England. The leather is untreated and can be treated all depending on usage, environment and climate. The model fits well for narrow/regular feet. Measurements of each size are found in the size guide. The shoes also come with a rubber sole variant for those wanting extra durability.
Historical shoes obviously do not compare to modern shoes in terms of durability or comfort. Avoid using them a lot on modern surfaces, such as concrete, asphalt, gravel and so forth that can wear down the sole. It is also possible to fit them with insoles to increase durability, comfort and isolation from water and cold. Vikings would have traditionally used thicker wool socks.
