A fantastic altarpiece for a shrine. The image is a reproduction of a bronze plate from the Sutton Hoo helmet that was found in England. It pictures two warriors engaged in the ritual Sword Dance seen with the Germanic Tribes. The dance was associated with the cult of Odin. A similar looking warrior is seen on one of the Torslunda plates from Sweden. Place god figurines, statues or other items in front of it to complete the set.

Handmade, made of Fibre reinforced cast and painted to resemble ancient bronze by a Swedish artist. It makes a great centrepiece on any shelf, table or shrine.

Product number: 4441

This altarpiece is used by people in modern day Scandinavia both as decoration and in small shrines. The bronze plate the piece is based on was part of a helmet.
